Suggested message: Senator Bill Galvano

I really feel like I am wasting my time being that you have been bought by Bloomberg, you do not care what your conservative constituents really care!  We are seriously concerned that you are slowly taking away our Constitutional rights with your anti-gun legislation, you have sold our SEcond Amendment to the highest bidder Michael Bloomberg, and you have the gall to say you accept his money!!.
You fail to understand the actual that of gun shootings like Marjory Stoneman-Douglas, it has absolutely nothing to do with guns, it was a failure of the school system and The Sheriffs Department,  the FBi and President Obama’s  “restorative justice”program to not put juvenile delinquents where they belong, definitely not in the general school population!,They all knew this was a severely  troubled individual but did nothing to stop him. Even the ridiculous situation where a teacher saw him coming into the school carry a gun case, knew whe was not supposed to be on the school property but did not stop him. You cannot blame the gun, it is in animate object it takes the human to pull the trigger and very sick individual.

h way, I am a life member of the NRA who has given not one dime no Florida Senate or House member or candidate for the Florida Senate or House has received a direct contribution from NRA in almost 20 years.”

Yet you had the unmitigated gall to  you stated has said repeatedly you  would not apologize for accepting the funds and that you were “grateful for the support from Bloomberg. In other words you are telling your Florida Constituents and all Florida Ins that you support the Gun grabbing Democratic Party!
Whats next Senator, you have plans for gun confiscation like Gov. Nordham of Virginia?

A review of the FDA’s database, 484 drugs were identified as triggers to serious adverse events significant enough to warrant a case study during the five-year period from 2004 through 2009. Of these 484 medications, 31 were identified to have a “disproportionate” association with violence. These 31 drugs make up 78.8 percent of all cases of violence toward others in the FDA’s database and included multiple psychotropic medications:

  • 11 antidepressants
    6 hypnotic/sedatives
    3 ADHD medications
    1 smoking cessation drug
Researchers concluded that violence against others was a “genuine and serious adverse drug event” and that of the 484 medications, the drugs that were most consistently and strongly associated with violence were the smoking cessation medication, varenicline (Chantix), and SSRIs.
The list includes five SSRI antidepressants:
  • Fluoxetine: Prozac increased aggressive behavior 10.9 times
Paroxetine: Paxil increased violent behavior 10.3 times
Fluvoxamine: Luvox increased violent behavior 8.4 times
Venlafaxine: Effexor increased violent behavior 8.3 times
Desvenlafaxine: Pristiq increased violent behavior 7.9 times
  • These are the drugs prescribed to those 10-19 years of age School Children.
As of 2004, all antidepressants in the U.S. are labeled: “Anxiety, agitation, panic attacks, insomnia, irritability, hostility, aggressiveness, impulsivity, akathisia, hypomania, and mania have been reported in adult and pediatric patients being treated with antidepressants for major depressive disorder as well as for indications, both psychiatric and nonpsychiatric.”
Nicolas Cruz of Parkland was refusing to take his medication, was diagnosed with obsessive Compulsive disorder, autism & attention deficit -hyperactivity disorder, for which he took Medication Clonidine, and Focalin both  which made the top 10 list of violence out of 484 drugs
And exactly what did you people blame the shooting on “GUNS”!

Senator Galvano, we do not make this stuff up, these are facts, facts that you people we put in the legislature to a job for the people should be addressing, no more ridiculous gun laws, they have changed nothing over the 20 years!

Out of twenty cases of drug related gun instances including Nicolas Cruz, every single one was on one or more of these drugs listed above. the ages of the individuals ranged from 15 to 27,  1- 23, 1- 26, 1- 21, 1-27.  These are mind altering drugs affecting their brains in their most developmental period in their life, and look what it is causing? we did not have this problem before 1992, why, because our kids were disciplined not drugged by our school systems and their parents, and many of these powerful mind altering drugs were not around..

Florida Alert! “Bill Galvano is
Trying to Give Bloomberg
his Moneys Worth”

DATE: January 24, 2020
TO: USF & NRA Member and Friends
FROM: Marion P. Hammer
USF Executive Director
NRA Past President
“Bill Galvano is trying to give Bloomberg his moneys worth by shoving this gun control bill down the Senate’s throat. That is not what a true conservative does. He is a RINO. Floridians deserve better! #FixIt ” — Andrew Pollack

That statement was posted on social media following Thursday’s (1/23/20) media reports that Florida Senate President Bill Galvano was optimistic about getting his massive gun control bill (SB-7028) passed.

Andrew Pollack is the father of Meadow Pollack – a beautiful young lady killed by the deranged Parkland murderer.  Pollack posted his statement on social media following Galvano’s latest expression of confidence for passing a gun control bill in the Florida Senate this session.

In a News Service of Florida article on Thursday it was reported that Florida Senate President “[Bill] Galvano expressed optimism that the bill has a chance as it awaits a hearing in the Judiciary Committee.”

The Judiciary Committee is chaired by Sen. David Simmons (R-Longwood).

Galvano’s new optimism for passing his gun control bill came after Governor DeSantis made a statement to reporters that seemed to defend Galvano as being a good guy who supports President Trump but did not defend him for taking Bloomberg money.  It is widely known that Galvano was upset that Donald Trump, Jr. called him out for taking half-a-million-dollars ($500,000) from anti-gun Democrat, Michael Bloomberg.

Donald Trump, Jr. was quoted in The Daily Wire as saying, “Any supposed ‘Republican’ who proudly accepts money from Mini Mike Bloomberg and is supportive of his gun control agenda is nothing more than a stone cold RINO. The last thing Florida Republicans need is a liberal, gun-grabbing Bloomberg minion leading them in the State Senate.”

The good thing to come out the meeting with the press in which the Governor tried to say that Galvano is good guy (even though he took money from Bloomberg) is that Governor DeSantis went on the record to say he is opposed to Galvano’s gun control bill.  Asked by a reporter, “I take it you’re not supporting the bill?” Governor DeSantis responded, “THAT’S CORRECT.”

So, thank you Governor Desantis for going on record in opposition to SB-7028.

We’re delighted Governor DeSantis is on record against the bill, and we don’t fault him for saying that Galvano is his friend and is a strong supporter of President Trump.

However, Bloomberg is not a friend of Republicans, in fact he spent a huge amount of money AGAINST Governor DeSantis in the Governors election in 2018.

We can only speculate as to why Bloomberg gave — and Galvano took — $500,000.  Bloomberg is an anti-gun Democrat running for US President and he clearly did not give Galvano $500,000 to help elect true Republicans to the Florida Senate.
