THE 800lb GORILLA IN THE ROOM! May 29, 2020

Lobojo's Den: An 800 Pound Gorilla

From our friend…

The past year has not been very good for the 800lb Gorilla out in Asia..And everyone knows exactly who that very large animal is and the kind of space they occupy..Just think about the past 12 months..

HONG KONG with 2 million people marching on a Sunday  ..asking for FREEDOM OF SPEECH!…VOTING RIGHTS!..Rather benign requests in a normal world!..That was after discovering that 30% of their pigs had died from a VIRUS..AFRICAN SWINE FEVER..a warning about what was coming 6 months later?? And then elections in Hong Kong!..BTW..the 800lb Gorilla doesn’t like ‘ELECTIONS”..Think very carefully about that one! And then they got swamped in the  Hong Kong elections…and then they got swamped again .. in the TAIWAN elections! ..Their candidate  was supposed to win in Taiwan..but not after the Hong Kong Marches!..And then more pigs died…45% of all their pigs, nearly 25% of the world’s pigs, by late Autumn ..The PIG VIRUS!..And then WUHAN in Nov..the dead Doctor in December..BUT…everything was still fine!..   According to their buddies in the  W.H.O. in mid January..”no person to person contagion”..We are all safe!..And in Jan..a U.S. TRADE DEAL that the 800lb guy didn’t really like..

That was the good news..Now we have ..more than 325 million dead pigs. 60% of their entire pig population is now gone in approximately 18 months..More than 100,000 dead Americans…and really bad..more than 362,000 innocent people around the world who are now dead because of a virus that started in WUHAN. That no  one knew about it for nearly 8 weeks..Enough time to almost guarantee the world would never see the virus.  If only there was transparency! ..Remember the W.H.O. advice in late January..”NO PROBLEMS!”  And Hong Kong will never be the same after last week..Hong Kong is the least of their problems but it is a warning about just how much that 800lb guy cares about the rest of the world..The 362,000 dead..Voting?…Freedom of Speech?…

Anyone who thinks this is a “benign group of leaders”…Think again..Think about  more than 362,000 dead around the world..100,000 Americans..Think about NO VOTING..Jail for speaking out (ask the dead Dr in Wuhan!)..We are all in for a very bad time..The 800lb guy only cares about the preservation of POWER..nothing  else matters,  ..NOTHING!..Anyone who knows that part of the world knows exactly what is coming..Anyone who really knew these guys and watched those kids in  TIANANMEN SQUARE  knew exactly what was going to happen….20/25,000 kids disappeared..GONE..and you know what they wanted..Exactly the same things those 2 million people marching on a Sun last June  in Hong Kong want!..”FREEDOM OF  SPEECH”…”VOTING”…This is NOT A BENIGN GROUP and nothing has changed since 1989….if you think anything has changed they will swallow you just like they swallowed those kids in the SQUARE in 1989…That GORILLA has had a very bad year..and we need to be very, very  careful…Wild Animals are very dangerous..especially large ones..

BOMBSHELL: Election Official Rigged Election Results For Democrats, Constituted ‘Significant Percentage Of The Total Votes,’ DOJ Says

By  Ryan
Voters cast their ballots on Election Day November 04, 2008, at Centreville High School in Clifton, Virginia. Americans crowded polling stations Tuesday to vote in their historic election, with front-running Democrat Barack Obama seeking to become the first black US president and Republican rival John McCain battling for a comeback.

United States Attorney William M. McSwain announced on Thursday that Domenick J. DeMuro, a Judge of Elections in Philadelphia, has been charged with and pleaded guilty to stuffing ballot boxes over the course of several years with fraudulent votes for Democrat candidates in federal, state, and local elections.
“During his guilty plea hearing, DeMuro admitted that an unnamed political consultant gave DeMuro directions and paid him money to illegally add votes for certain Democratic candidates,” the Department of Justice said in a statement. “These candidates were individuals running for judicial office whose campaigns had hired the consultant, as well as other candidates for various federal, state, and local elective offices who were preferred by this consultant for a variety of reasons.”
The statement said that DeMuro pleaded guilty to “a two-count Information charging (1) conspiracy to deprive Philadelphia voters of their civil rights by fraudulently stuffing the ballot boxes for specific Democratic candidates in the 2014, 2015, and 2016 primary elections, and (2) a violation of the Travel Act, which forbids the use of any facility in interstate commerce (here, a cell phone) with the intent to promote certain illegal activity (here, bribery).”
In announcing the charges, McSwain highlighted the responsibilities of DeMuro’s role, which primarily centered around “overseeing the entire election process and voter activities of his or her division” and ensuring that election results are accurate and untainted.
“Our election system relies on the honesty and the integrity of its election officials,” McSwain said. “If they are corrupt, the system is corrupt, which creates opportunities for election fraud and unfortunately the counting of fake votes. Domenick DeMuro did not uphold his duties as an election official.”
“After receiving payments ranging from between $300 and $5,000 per election from the consultant, DeMuro would add fraudulent votes on the voting machines, also known as ringing up votes, for the consultant’s clients and preferred candidates thereby diluting and distorting the ballots that were cast by actual voters,” McSwain continued. “DeMuro would add these fraudulent votes to the totals during election day and then he would later falsely certify that the voting machine results were accurate. He would add the fraudulent votes by literally standing in the voting booth and voting over and over and over again as fast as he could when he thought that the coast was clear.”
“In May 2014, DeMuro stuffed the ballot box with 27 fraudulent ballots during the primary election. In May 2015, he padded the ballot box with 40 fraudulent votes. In 2016, it was 46 fraudulent votes,” McSwain said. “Now these numbers may sound relatively small, but they made up a significant percentage of the total votes that were cast at the polling place. In 2014, 118 total ballots were reported in the 36th Division of the 39th Ward. That means that DeMuro’s fraudulent votes accounted for over 22% of the total voting in that division in 2014. In 2015, his fraud accounted for over 15% of the total votes in the division. In 2016, his fraud accounted for over 17% of the votes.”
The news comes as Democrats across the country are pushing for mass-scale mail-in voting for the upcoming elections. Many top officials have serious concerns about mail-in voting due to the opportunity that it allegedly creates for fraud.
RealClearPolitics reported:

Between 2012 and 2018, 28.3 million mail-in ballots remain unaccounted for, according to data from the federal Election Assistance Commission. The missing ballots amount to nearly one in five of all absentee ballots and ballots mailed to voters residing in states that do elections exclusively by mail.

States and local authorities simply have no idea what happened to these ballots since they were mailed – and the figure of 28 million missing ballots is likely even higher because some areas in the country, notably Chicago, did not respond to the federal agency’s survey questions.

Watchdog groups say that the sheer volume of unaccounted for mail-in ballots create serious concerns about election security and being able to guarantee that elections are conducted with integrity.
In 2018, Texas law enforcement officials arrested several women for allegedly targeting elderly voters in 2016 in a “voter fraud ring” that was funded by a Democratic Party leader.

An Open Letter to the D.C. Right

An Open Letter to the D.C. Right

Bruce BawerMay 24, 2020

I’m addressing this to several of you whom I know in Washington, D.C. Not all of you, but some of you.
I’ve known you for decades. You’re think-tankers, government officials, political journalists, and pundits. Some of you have been all these things.
For a long while, I thought you were the good guys. You talked about individual liberty. Some of you identified as conservatives, others as libertarians, still others as classical liberals. None of you are outright leftists.

And, once upon a time, you were my friends.

You cheered my books on gay rights. (Many of you are gay.) But when I started writing critically about Islam, you went mum. All of you. You didn’t attack me in public, but you didn’t express support, either.
But that was OK.
Then Donald Trump came along. He spoke of liberty and of putting America First.  Your public rage at him—and his supporters—was instantaneous. It was visceral, full-throated, and constant. I didn’t remember any of you getting that worked up about Barack Obama. Ever.
For a moment, at the very beginning, I didn’t quite get it. Then I got it. Of course. It was obvious.  Trump represented an existential threat to everything you had—your job security, your social status, your sumptuous lives in places like Chevy Chase, Falls Church, and Georgetown.  You knew—somehow all of you could tell instinctively—that when Trump talked about liberty, he meant it.
A Blinkered View of Liberty
But you? However much you talked about liberty, at bottom you weren’t really about liberty at all—at least not the individual liberty of ordinary Americans.
What were you about? Well, for one thing, you were about the “liberty” of giant American corporations to move their factories abroad, even to Communist countries, without penalty.
For those of you who work at think tanks, this position was understandable: owners of giant corporations paid your hefty salaries.
Yes, over the decades, as a result of policies you advocated, countless working Americans lost their jobs to workers in other countries—some of them children, some of them literally slaves, all of them paid little or nothing.
Such losses, you asserted, were regrettable, but in the end everybody would benefit.
Well, look who’s benefited: The Chinese Communist Party. Carlos Slim. The Silicon Valley Billionaire Boys’ Club.
And, of course, you. Because nobody was exporting your jobs to China or Mexico.
What else were you about? You were about the “liberty” of any and all foreigners to move to the United States at will, hence driving down wages. In short, open borders.
A Blind Eye to Jihad
One of the problems with this position was that millions of those foreigners subscribed to a religion that taught them to hate America and its values and to applaud armed jihad.
But instead of acknowledging the unique dangers of Islam and adjusting your policy prescriptions accordingly, those of you who are think tankers established (or stood by silently while your higher-ups established) “Islam programs” and “Islam projects” and hired “Islam experts” to run them.
Uniformly, these “experts” supported—and some of them had even helped formulate—the Obama Administration’s stratagem of scrubbing the basic facts about the roots of jihad from intelligence briefings, military manuals, and the like.
With the help of these “experts,” your think tanks produced reports, articles, colloquia, etc., that whitewashed the Quran, argued that Islam is eminently compatible with classical liberalism, and maintained that the Islamic world is growing more secular.
To make these ridiculous claims sound even remotely credible, you and your colleagues consistently had to ignore mountains of evidence to the contrary. Your readiness to go along with this mendacity made clear your devotion, not to truth, but to the cause of allaying Americans’ fears of mass Muslim immigration.
(Also, in the case of at least one of your think tanks, it surely reflected your generous funding by at least one authoritarian Middle Eastern government. So much for your love of liberty.)
You claimed to be against “big government.” In fact, you’re all cogs in a sprawling Washington establishment that extends way beyond the constitutionally prescribed president, Congress, and Supreme Court to include agencies, think tanks, lobbying groups, news organizations, and so on, that work together to shape government policies—policies that might or might not accord with the wishes or best interests of most Americans beyond the Beltway.
Bashing Trump, Defending Treason
Anyway, as I say, Trump came along. He made promises. And he kept them.
He took on Chinese tariffs. You screamed about free trade, as if grotesquely lopsided one-way tariff arrangements could be called fair.
He took on job exports. You screamed some more.
And the economy boomed. Jobs came back. Americans began to prosper as never before.
And you hated every minute of it. You made that clear in your articles and TV appearances and social media posts.
When the Democrats tried to sell the patently phony Russian-collusion narrative and impeachment case, some of you joined in the pile-on. Some didn’t: such matters weren’t in your wheelhouse. Besides, at least some of you had to have realized early on that it was all lies.
But none of you blew the whistle on it.
The Obama people were trying to overturn the 2016 election—a reprehensible betrayal of constitutional principles that put the United States through years of hell. And what did you do? Even if you didn’t explicitly parrot Rachel Maddow, you nonetheless aided and abetted this coup attempt by staying silent about it while continuing to slam Trump over the trivial outrage du jour.
Yet I didn’t take you on personally. I wanted to think we could stay friends despite having different politics.
But as the deep state persisted in its unscrupulous mischief—e.g., perp-walking Roger Stone from his home while tipped-off CNN hacks looked on—it became harder to see things that way.
In recent days, I’ve reached an apotheosis. It was triggered by a thread on one of your Facebook pages.
Some of the commenters were fellow D.C. insiders. But others (I easily discovered) were big machers in Hollywood and on Wall Street.
As it happened, the comments on the thread were written in the hours after the Michael Flynn stuff exploded and it was established that Obama himself was almost certainly behind the effort to frame and dethrone Trump.  But what was striking was that the thread wasn’t about that. There wasn’t a word about Obama’s perfidy or Trump’s innocence.
Yes, Obama had been unmasked as a felon, a traitor. But you and your pals in the corridors of power in New York, Washington, and Los Angeles just kept on with the usual day-to-day Trump-bashing.  Proof of Obama’s crimes had been placed in front of all of you, and you all swept it aside without a moment’s hesitation.
The Patrician Class Defends Its Own
I found myself taken aback. I shouldn’t have been, but I was. None of you cared that Obama and his people were crooks. You didn’t care that this was about the fundamental principles of the American constitutional republic.
You were just that cynical.
I felt almost as if I was seeing all of you clearly and fully for the first time. And in that moment I realized I could no longer view any of this simply as a matter of having different politics.  In the next couple of days, I monitored your social media to see if any of you would respond in any way to all the staggering revelations about the plot against Trump. Nope.
On the contrary, as if nothing whatever had happened, a bunch of you sniped at him about the tone of one of his more insignificant tweets.  One of you called him “the narcissist-in-chief.” (Obama isn’t a narcissist?) Another said that this single tweet made Trump “unfit for any office of trust.”
One of you—a longtime friend of mine—even addressed Trump voters directly, telling us that we should be ashamed to have voted for him and ordering us not to do it again.  Sorry, but as a lifelong freelancer who’s never had to write a word at odds with my own conscience, I don’t like taking orders from people who’ve been paid generously to parrot their paymasters’ opinions.
The sheer refusal to engage with reality was breathtaking.
Get this straight: I’m not angry at you for hating Trump. Hate him all you want. That’s not the point.  I’m angry because you apparently feel no duty whatsoever to the national institutions of which, by virtue of your jobs, you are, for better or worse, the guardians.  But so it is. You’ve shrugged off Obama’s culpability. And in doing so, you’ve set yourself against liberty and justice. You’ve accepted perfidy and treason at the highest levels as part of the rules of the road.
What’s at the core of your being, I see now, is not a sense of principles but your identity as part of the Washington establishment.
You’ve posed as people who take seriously your responsibility to the American republic. In reality, your loyalty has been to the increasingly sprawling D.C. bureaucracy, and its tentacles in New York and L.A.
If you can shrug off the transgressions of Obama and his courtiers so blithely, it’s because you’re all fellow members of the same establishment as Obama, Biden, Brennan, Comey, Clapper, and the Clintons, with the same values and priorities.  Guilt and innocence? Right and wrong? Right and Left? Who cares about such things? That’s for rubes in Flyover Country.
What matters is preserving your privileges as members of the patrician class. What matters is keeping cosa nostra—“our thing”—intact.  For a long time, I didn’t realize—or couldn’t realize, or perhaps even chose not to realize—that this was what I was looking at when I looked at you.
No more. The scales have fallen from my eyes, and the sight before me is a sorry thing indeed.

CNN Refuses To Cover Biden’s ‘You
Ain’t Black’ Jaw-Dropper On-Air

Former Vice President Joe Biden apologized Friday afternoon for a tone-deaf comment about black voters — and although it was hours later, CNN made no mention of the comments on air.
Biden, during a somewhat contentious interview for the “Breakfast Club” radio show, said to voters who were still undecided between himself and President Donald Trump, “you ain’t black.”  Shortly after the video of the exchange hit social media, both Fox News and MSNBC ran segments covering Biden’s comments.
Juan Williams, during a segment of “America’s Newsroom,” called the comments “too direct for my tastes” but added that they were simply an example of Biden’s tendency to be “blunt.”
Harris Faulkner also addressed the topic on “Outnumbered,” saying that the comments were “hurtful” and represented a “blind spot” for Biden.
Fox News’ @HARRISFAULKNER on Joe Biden’s comments:  “I’ve been fighting against this notion that you’re not Black enough unless you think a certain way, you vote a certain way, you speak a certain way, you do certain things, my whole life”

Biden’s communications director Symone Sanders offered an explanation, saying that Biden had simply been joking and meant to show the contrast between his own record and Trump’s.

Coverage of the comments continued on MSNBC as correspondent Trymaine Lee noted that Biden’s comments were problematic even if he was joking.
Fox News host and Daily Caller cofounder Tucker Carlson weighed in on the situation as well.

Daily Caller  @DailyCaller
“Running Joe Biden for president is like making your dog wear a dress. It may make for an amusing Instagram post but it’s wrong.”
– Tucker Carlson
By Friday afternoon, Biden issued an apology of sorts, saying on a call with black business owners that he “shouldn’t have been such a wise guy” and assuring them that he did not take the black vote for granted.
Through it all, there was no comment on air from CNN.   In fact, as of 6:30 ET, according to the Grabien news clipping site, Biden’s name had only come up a total of five times since anchor Don Lemon’s Thursday night broadcast — and all five times occurred in the 12pm ET hour when host John King addressed the campaign’s search for a female vice president and mentioned an exchange Biden had with late night comedian Stephen Colbert.
CNN tweeted about Biden several times after the comments began making the rounds on social media — but the first tweet that addressed those comments was not posted until after the former vice president had already apologized.
Joe Biden says he “shouldn’t have been such a wise guy,” hours after he told a popular African American radio host that “if you have a problem figuring out whether you’re for me or Trump, then you ain’t black”

Fauci Flips On Lockdown

Fauci Flips On Lockdown: Staying
Home Too Long Could Cause
‘Irreparable Damage’
Anthony Fauci appears on "Fast Money Halftime Report." Screenshot/CNBC

Dr. Anthony Fauci said Friday that there could be “irreparable damage” if lockdowns due to the coronavirus pandemic went on too long.  Fauci explained during a segment of CNBC’s “Fast Money Halftime Report” that there could be numerous unintended consequences to keeping the country shut down longer than necessary.

Fauci began by saying that his position had always been that states and regions should open as they passed certain benchmarks and could do so safely while still protecting the more vulnerable populations.  “We can’t stay locked down for such a considerable period of time that you might do irreparable damage and have unintended consequences, including consequences for health,” Fauci explained, adding, “We are enthusiastic about reopening. I think we can do it in pace that would be reasonable and would get us back as a society from a morale standpoint as well as the economy.”

“I don’t want people to think that any of us feel that staying locked down for prolonged period of time is the way to go,” Fauci continued. “We had to do that when we had the explosion of cases, but now is the time depending upon where you are and what your situation is, to look at reopening the economy, reopening the country to try to get back to some degree of normal. I’m totally in favor of that if it’s done in the proper way in the appropriate setting.”

Fauci concluded by saying that he did still have concerns that some areas might bypass the benchmarks for safe reopening and cause an unmanageable spike in cases, but reiterated that it was time to consider taking steps to reopen as soon as your area could do so in a safe and responsible manner.
