Indicted GOP congressman Chris Collins resigns ahead of expected guilty plea

Indicted GOP congressman Chris Collins
resigns ahead of expected guilty plea

Rep. Chris Collins (R-N.Y.) resigned his seat Monday amid reports that he will plead guilty in an insider trading case that led to his indictment last August.
Collins, the first sitting representative to endorse President Trump during the 2016 Republican primaries, was indicted along with his son Cameron Collins and the father of Cameron Collins’s fiancée last August on charges of trading on nonpublic information about an Australian biotech company.
All three had previously pleaded not guilty but are expected to reverse their pleas in a Tuesday hearing.

I have a degree in Political Science, and I am a card-carrying Libertarian. I’ve been studying politics and political history for the past 30 years. My specialty is U.S. Presidents. That said, I hope that the House of Representatives impeaches Trump. Let me tell you what will happen next!
1. The House can pass articles of impeachment over the objections of the Republicans and refer to the Senate for trial.
2. The Senate will conduct a trial. There will be a vote, and the Republicans will vote unanimously, along with a small number of Democrats, to not convict the President. Legally, it will all be over at that point.
3. However, during the trial, and this is what no one is thinking about right now, the President’s attorneys will have the right to subpoena and question ANYONE THEY WANT! That is different than the special counsel investigation, which was very one-sided.

So, during the impeachment trial, we will be hearing testimony from James Comey, Peter Strzok, Lisa Page, Bruce Ohr, Glenn Simpson, Donna Brazille, Eric Holder, Loretta Lynch, Christopher Steele, Hillary Clinton, John Brennan, James Clapper, and a whole host of other participants in this whole sordid affair and the ensuing cover-up activities. A lot of dirt will be dug up; a lot of truth will be unveiled. Finger pointing will occur.

Deals will start being made, and suddenly, a lot of democrats will start being charged and going to prison. All this, because, remember, the President’s team will now, for the first time, have the RIGHT to question all of these people under oath – and they will turn on each other. That is already starting.

4. Lastly, one more thing will happen, the Senate will not convict the President.

Nothing will happen to Trump. Most Americans are clueless about political processes, the law, and the Constitution. Most Americans believe that being impeached results in removal from office. They don’t understand that phase 2 is a trial in and by the Senate, where he has zero chance of conviction.

Remember, the Senate is controlled by Republicans; they will determine what testimony is allowed — and *everything* will be allowed, including: DNC collusion with the Clinton campaign to fix the election in favor of Hillary, the creation of the Trump dossier, the cover up and destruction of emails that very likely included incriminating information.

They will incriminate each other for lying to the FISA court, for spying and wiretapping the Trump campaign, and for colluding with foreign political actors, especially George Soros.

After the Senate declines to convict the President, we will have an election, and Trump will win. It will be a backlash against democrat petulance, temper tantrums, hypocrisy and dishonesty. Even minorities will vote for Trump, because, for the first time, they will see that democrats have spent 2+ years focused on maintaining their own power, and not doing anything at all about black murders in Chicago, homelessness, opioids, and other important issues that are actually killing people. And, we will spend the following four years listening to politicians and pundits claim that the whole impeachment was rigged.

So let’s move on to impeachment.

These people really are Stupid!

Distribute his words.  The country needs to demonstrate more outrage as to what is going on.

I am not normally someone who believes in “CONSPIRACY THEORY”. My feelings about such things is kind of simple, No one can keep a secret!
But the “conspiracy” to go after Donald Trump by the “INTELLIGENCE COMMUNITY” of the Obama Administration is not a normal ‘CONSPIRACY”. What I mean by that is, everyone knows about it so it is really not a secret, never was!  The entire world knows that Brennen, Clapper, Comey..Rice, etc were doing everything they could to bring down Donald Trump., and they were all vested into this”big time”.
So exactly where am I going  with this CONSPIRACY (the real cover-up)? Well, think about some interesting timing.
Everyone knows that the current AG, BILL BARR, is after these disgraceful human beings and most likely he has the goods on these scumbags, the guilty always know they are guilty,  and he is not far off from bring them all down. And out of the clear blue sky, a member of the vaunted “INTEL GROUP” staying behind closed doors (a whistleblower) has stepped out and is attempting to bring down Donald Trump with IMPEACHMENT.
Why do I find this all so coincidental?  If ever there would be a divergent scandal, IMPEACHMENT would most certainly qualify. It is sucking out all the oxygen and anything that Bill Barr has to say would now be “just another story”, about defending Trump, rather than the true scandal that the INTEL COMMUNITY has perpetrated on this country.  Think about this “person” who filed the WHISTLEBLOWER REPORT, INTEL(CIA) 2nd or 3rd hand knowledge at best.  The transcripts say no such thing as alleged in the report, no “quid quo pro”, and it is the 3rd time a “private, conversation” between the President of the United States and a foreign leader has been “leaked” to the media.  They finally got him! They have been trying for more than 2 yrs and  now they think they finally have him!
I would almost bet the house that this is all about Bill Barr getting much too close to nailing all these scumbags and they know it,  they have now thrown everything they have at Donald Trump, they have been in bed with Democrats (and some Republicans) from the very beginning.
Trump is destroying the SWAMP and every single one of these players is vested in the SWAMP, it is their pension after public office or after leaving government service. There are very good people in Government Service, There are very good people in the Intel Community and there are even a few good people who get elected to public office (not many, I fear).  But we have become invested and infected by the disease of the scumbags, they are taking down our government and country because they will not allow someone the people chose to clean it up!
Remember, Donald Trump was NOT CHOSEN by the “establishment”, he beat BOTH PARTIES ESTABLISHMENTS.(The Bushes..The Clintons..etc) he committed the mortal sin, He got elected by THE PEOPLE.  He showed Americans they can indeed take back their country, the problem is, too many people in DC think the country belongs to them, they will do whatever they can to make sure it stays that way!  You want to know why?  Just check out out the $1.5 billion that Hunter Biden picked up in China, look no further!  This is how it operates and those people want to make sure it stays that way.  Donald Trump is in their way! Like I said, I would bet a lot of money that this is what is really going on, it is simply all to convenient that all of this is falling at the same time.  If Bill Barr has the goods, he takes down a multitude of people, everywhere, all over DC, both Parties! They are all, every single one of them scared to death!  If they get Donald first, they just might save their pensions and a few more $1.5 Billion deals, and COVER-UP what has really been going on for the last 25/30 years.

De Blasio’s NYC Bans Calling Someone
an “Illegal Alien” Out of “Hate”

Written by

De Blasio’s NYC Bans Calling Someone an “Illegal Alien” Out of “Hate”

An amusing quip is that with Mayor Bill de Blasio’s presidential-race exit, the 2020 campaign’s gain is NYC’s loss. And sure enough, with him back at work and up to mischief, the Big Apple has just notified residents that it has banned calling someone an “illegal alien” out of hate “in public accommodations, employment, and housing.” It’s all part of a prohibition against discrimination “on the basis of perceived or actual immigration status or national origin.” Presumably, however, it’s still legal to discriminate against conservatives/Trump supporters.
Of course, without “discrimination” — meaning, choosing one or some from among many — against illegal aliens, we couldn’t even deport them. This is perhaps the whole idea, too, as the NYC ban also prohibits calling ICE when motivated by doubleplusungood thoughts.
Reporting on some details, the Metro writes,
A document shared on the reads that, “It is illegal for a person’s employer, coworkers, or housing provider such as landlords to use derogatory or offensive terms to intimidate, humiliate, or degrade people, including by using the term ‘illegal alien,’ where its use is intended to demean, humiliate, or offend another person.”
Not mentioned was what type of high-tech device or on-retainer telepathist will be used to ascertain an alleged thought criminal’s true motivation. Interestingly, back in 2015, New York’s highest court ruled that it was legal to swear long and loud at police officers. Go figure.
Additionally, the document reads, “It is illegal for employers to pay workers lower wages or no wages or threaten to call Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to harass, scare, or intimidate workers because of their immigration status,” the Metro continues.
Interestingly, enforcing this would actually help eliminate illegal migrants from NYC since it would be no cheaper to hire them than citizens. Thus might a cynic conclude that this provision of the law won’t be enforced.
Obviously eager to value signal, NYC tweeted information about the new measure:
City of New York  @nycgov

New York City has made it illegal to threaten to call ICE based on a discriminatory motive or to tell someone “go back to your country.” Hate has no place here

The restrictions, “outlined in a 29-page directive released by City Hall’s Commission on Human Rights,” the New York Post adds, include the statement, “‘Alien’ — used in many laws to refer to a ‘noncitizen’ person — is a term that may carry negative connotations and dehumanize immigrants, marking them as ‘other.’”
Now, first note that the term “illegal alien” appears in federal statutes and has been regularly used by the Supreme Court (and calling an illegal alien an “undocumented worker” is like calling a rapist an undocumented husband).
Aside from deceiving others with language, however, leftists also deceive themselves with illusions. NYC provides a good example, too, when it states, “Hate has no place here” and inveighs against “otherization.” After all, this is the same set that has allowed hate — in the form of Trump Derangement Syndrome — to drive its behavior for years. Its members have labeled the president’s supporters “deplorables,” “bitter clingers,” and “dregs,” and most recently Senator Cory Booker (D-N.J.) called them “despicable.”
Then there’s Trump supporter Dion Cini, who says he has been denied service by NYC establishments approximately a dozen times; this includes being expelled from a bar that had nonetheless charged his card for the service it wouldn’t provide. So it appears that hate has a prominent place in the Big Apple. Discrimination does, too.
Moreover, consider: If a store owner feels hatred toward a vandal or shoplifter, is he then wrong in reporting the criminal? Since he can do so, however, we should ask: Why is a special prohibition carved out for one particular crime, illegal migration?
This is especially relevant since humans, being emotional creatures, may often pursue even right actions motivated by (at least in part) negative emotions. So does one have to be Mr. Spock to report an illegal in NYC now?
But speaking of negative emotion, the Post explained the law’s motivation. “The Commission on Human Rights made clear that the directive is, at least in part, a rebuke of federal crackdowns on illegal [migration],” the paper relates.
Yet speech codes are par for NYC’s course. In 2016, the city announced that it would be illegal for employers and landlords to not use Made-up Sexual Status people’s (“transgenders’”) preferred pronouns, such as “ze,” “sie,” “ey,” “hir,” “zim,” and “eir.” Oh, the penalty for noncompliance includes, again, fines up to $250,000.
These restrictions are motivated by the same spirit that birthed hate-speech laws in the rest of the Western world. In fact, they’re an end run around the First Amendment, the camel’s nose in the free-speech tent. The social engineers hope to slip these speech prohibitions by the courts (with activist “judges’” help) by introducing them within a narrow context: anti-discrimination law constraining only the legal fictions known as “public accommodations.” But state trampling of speech in any context is a step toward state trampling of speech in every context.
Also note: I’ve often warned about entities such as NYC’s Commission on Human Rights. Going by some variation on that name (e.g., “human rights commissions”), these are the bureaucracies that enforce tyrannical hate-speech prohibitions in Europe, Canada, Australia, and elsewhere. And here’s the kicker: Having metastasized, it appears that every state has one, and many (if not most) counties and cities do as well. Even deeply conservative West Virginia has one. In other words, the mechanisms for enforcing hate-speech law are already in place.
As for citizens’ place in the pecking order, de Blasio has made this clear. As the Post also reports, on “Thursday the Mayor’s Office of Immigrant Affairs announced a joint $1 million investment with the state to guarantee legal services to immigrants facing imminent deportation.”
All this can make it tempting to tell de Blasio to go back to where he came from. Unfortunately for NYC, though, that happens to be Manhattan.

Pelosi Accuses Attorney General Of ‘Going Rogue’ With Leaker Complaint, Faces Her Own Criticism

OAN Newsroom
UPDATED 9:38 AM PT — Friday, September 27, 2019

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said the attorney general has “gone rogue” in his handling of the whistleblower complaint. In an interview Friday, Pelosi accused William Barr of trying to protect the president. She also accused Barr of being part of a White House cover-up trying to block the details of the call between President Trump and the Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

Pelosi said her message to both Democrats and Republicans at this point is to put country before party.

“This is no cause for any joy, this is a very sad time for our country,” she stated. “The impeachment of a president is as serious as our congressional responsibilities can be, apart from declaring war or something.”

Pelosi also criticized acting Director of National Intelligence Joseph Maguire for taking a complaint involving the president to the White House legal counsel.
The speaker herself has come under criticism for her haste in launching an impeachment inquiry before even seeing the details of the complaint. Former Trump administration adviser Steve Bannon said Pelosi  is starting a civil war with her impeachment inquiry. In a comment to the Washington Post Wednesday, the former White House official said her decision to announce the intent to start an impeachment inquiry at 5 PM is “the shot a Fort Sumter,” which started the American Civil War.
In an interview earlier this week, Bannon said the inquiry is a move to shut down President Trump’s agenda as the focus shifts to impeachment instead of things like national security.
“What you’re going to see is 24 hours a day in the Washington Post, in the New York Times, that will then feed into the cable news process, you’ll see these guys on TV…it’ll be overwhelming, it will be relentless,” he explained.
Bannon said Pelosi and the Democrat House have been trying to figure out how to impeach the president for the last three years. His comments come as most Republicans pointed out the whistleblower complaint is not enough evidence to start an impeachment inquiry.

Fisher Border Wall El Paso, TX Extended Cut Version

“We Build the Wall”

If you’ve been following “We Build the Wall” (private donations and on privately donated land), you’re probably aware of this unbelievable project that the Army Core of Engineers said couldn’t be done (including 315 ft. of vertical grade from 18% to 31%).  But they did it start to finish in 10 days–cost between 5 and 6 million!!

Look at what the Fisher Company got done in 10 days!! No way our liberal press will ever show this. Building this fence, in those conditions with the infrastructure in place is amazing. It proves things can happen quickly if people work together, but our Congress doesn’t want this out!!

Please send this to as many people as you can. People need to see what can be done.

This is what can be done for National Security in just 10 Days of professional work…which is being held up by Elected Officials who have no interest in American Security!

On April 29th, 2019, Fisher Sand & Gravel Co. was contacted by We Build the Wall to construct a half mile of fence in Sunland Park, New Mexico. The location was deemed “Unbuildable” by government agencies due to the harsh construction conditions. In just over one month of being notified of this project, Fisher procured and fabricated the bollard fence panels and finished all construction within two weeks.

From our friend…on the whistle blower, etc.

Below is from a column in today’s NY POST, written by someone with personal experience in the White House and the National Security Counsil.

The comments go to the heart of the matter, THE DEEP STATE is after Donald Trump at any cost.  As a country, we are in a lot of trouble. People who got elected to NOTHING are running the country. This is COMEY, BRENNEN, CLAPPER, ETC run wild

It doesn’t matter what side you are on, DEMOCRAT (remember what Comey did to Hillary!) REPUBLICAN, whatever this is all very bad, and .they should all be in jail. The problem right now is, Democrats hate Trump so much that they are blind to this DEEP STATE HORROR, and it is indeed HORROR.  There is nothing that is good about what is going on..

The country should settle its disagreements at the ballot box, and government employees should have NOTHING TO SAY ABOUT IT except their own personal vote. If they are not satisfied with that option, then simply quit.

If we stop playing by the rules, “ELECTIONS” we will lose our country.  Rules (Borders..etc) are what prevent chaos,  WITHOUT THEM WE WILL SIMPLY DISAPPEAR!
Fred Fleitz, president of the Center for Security Policy, served in 2018 as deputy assistant to the president and to the chief of staff of the National Security Council. He previously held national-security jobs with the CIA, the DIA, the Department of State, and the House Intelligence Committee staff.

He remarks on the whistleblower complaint.

I am troubled by the complaint and wonder how an intelligence officer could file it over something a president said to a foreign leader. How could this be an intelligence matter?
It appears likely to me that this so-called whistleblower was pursuing a political agenda.
I am very familiar with transcripts of presidential phone calls since I edited and processed dozens of them when I worked for the NSC. I also know a lot about intelligence whistleblowers from my time with the CIA.
My suspicions grew this morning when I saw the declassified whistleblowing complaint. It appears to be written by a law professor and includes legal references and detailed footnotes. It also has an unusual legalistic reference on how this complaint should be classified.
From my experience, such an extremely polished whistleblowing complaint is unheard of. This document looks as if this leaker had outside help, possibly from congressional members or staff
Moreover, it looks like more than a coincidence that this complaint surfaced and was directed to the House Intelligence Committee just after Adam Schiff (D-Calif.), an outspoken opponent of President Trump, expressed numerous complaints in August 2019 accusing President Trump of abusing aid to Ukraine to hurt Joe Biden. This includes an August 28 tweet that closely resembled the whistleblowing complaint.
House Republicans need to ask the whistleblower under oath whether he spoke to the press or Congress about his complaint.
Also very concerning to me is how the complaint indicates intelligence officers and possibly other federal employees are violating the rules governing presidential phone calls with foreign leaders.
The content and transcripts of these calls are highly restricted. The whistleblower makes clear in his complaint that he did not listen to a call in question, nor did he read the transcript — he was told about the call by others. If true, intelligence officers have grossly violated the rules as well as the trust placed on them to protect this sensitive information.

I refuse to believe that the leaking, timing and presentation of this complaint is coincidence. I don’t think the American people will buy this either.

I’m more worried, however, that this latest instance of blatant politicization of intelligence by Trump haters will do long term damage to the relationship between the intelligence community and US presidents for many years to come.

We can’t teach christianity What is wrong with this picture?

Public School Teachers Instructed To Promote Islam

Over four hundred teachers underwent mandatory training in Michigan recently that exalted Islam but denigrated Christianity, America, and of course, white males. The training leads people to believe Islam is the peaceful, one true religion while Christianity is a man-made, false religion.

Richard Thompson, president of the Thomas More Law Center (TMLC) described it as a well-orchestrated Islamic propaganda campaign and said:

“We found that the teachers were subjected to two days of Islamic propaganda, where Islam was glorified, Christianity disparaged, and America bashed…”But that’s not all!

There’s another lawsuit, this time in Maryland, where high-school students were required to profess the Shahada, the Islamic conversion creed, ‘There is no god but Allah, and Muhammad is the messenger of Allah.’ The school did not allow a Christian student, Caleigh Wood, to opt out, and failed her for refusing to submit. It’s interesting that Islam is translated as “submission.”

I agree with TMLC’s Richard Thompson that across the U.S. special treatment is being given to the Muslim faith. Government schools do so under the guise of diversity, inclusion, multiculturalism, or while teaching history and social studies. Would this ever be tolerated if it were Christianity or any other religion? Nope.

In the training, Christian scriptures are described as being “corrupted” while the holy book of Islam, the Quran was said to contain the “pure” word of God. According to the report, of hundreds of teachers attending the workshop, not one teacher challenged the fabrications about Islam, the disrespect toward Christianity or attacks on America.

These cases make me wonder what our great grandparents or founding fathers would say.

Imagine today’s students in an American school being taught God’s Moral Laws or that Jesus Christ is the Truth and the only way to eternal life. Instead of the Shahada, imagine public schools requiring kids to profess, for example, Romans 10:9-10:

“[I]f you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.

But the Bible has long been banned and Jesus was rejected by the U.S. Dept. of Education.

A Freedom of Information Act request filed by the Thomas More Law Center revealed some alarming information about the two-day teacher training session on Islam. This campaign has been presented in at least nine separate school districts in Michigan, as well as colleges and professional organizations in states including California, Texas, Georgia, and Florida.

Schools that have already had teachings on Islam including its Five Pillars include New Jersey, Virginia, Washington, Georgia, Minnesota, Tennessee, Oregon, and South Carolina.

Who was the expert hired to train teachers? Huda Essa of Culture Links LLC, who describes herself as an advocate of social justice and encourages children to “take pride in their many identities.” She also claimed that white males are more dangerous than Islamic radicals.

Essa provided no truthful information on Sharia law, jihad, or the harsh treatment of women. All references to terrorism were dismissed as having nothing to do with Islam. She compared Christianity to Islam suggesting they are mostly similar. “The one big difference, she claims, is that Islam is the world’s “only purely monotheistic religion.”

This regardless of the fact Christians believe in one God, consisting of three distinct persons who nevertheless remain one indivisible God. The Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit are not three separate Gods with different natures or conflicting agendas. The Great I AM is Creator, Redeemer, Savior, Author of life, Judge of mankind, Sustainer, and Sovereign King who reigns forever.

But according to Essa, the Bible is inferior. But she did not address the fact that the Quran calls for the extermination of Christian and Jews.

In a special investigative report on “Taxpayer-funded Islamic Propaganda Forced on Teachers,” the Thomas More Law Center points out Huda Essa accused America of “cultural genocide.” However,

“Essa was silent on the 1400 years of actual genocides, also known as jihads, in which Muslims wiped out Jewish tribes on the Arabian Peninsula, and slaughtered millions of Christians throughout the Middle East, North Africa and the European Continent.

Novi’s Islamic teacher-training is just the latest example of professional Islamic indoctrinators infiltrating U.S. public schools even as Christianity has been forced out of the classroom.

Essa claimed Islam is the world’s fastest-growing religion, but conveniently failed to mention Muslims are forbidden to leave the faith or will be subject to severe punishment or death. Forced conversions have been a well-documented fact of history.

Make no mistake; peace is not the final goal, it is submission to Islam and Sharia Law. The Middle East and North Africa were once Christian majorities, but were Islamized by a series of jihads starting with Muhammad and later by the Ottoman Turks.

Essa failed to mention that Muhammad, Islam’s prophet, is reported to have said that the majority of hell would be populated by women (hadith by Sahih Bukhari Vol. 1:28, 301, Vol. 2:161, Vol. 7:124-126). The Quran also instructs husbands to beat a disobedient wife (Sura 4:34).

Going back to the 1960s, the one true, living God was expelled from most public schools along with voluntary prayer, Bible reading, and even the Ten Commandments. This not only set the stage for the lack of discipline, unprecedented sexual activity, drugs, and violence; but many of today’s schools bending over backwards to promote Islam.

What can concerned parents and patriotic Americans do? Raise awareness about the indoctrination of teachers and students. Attend school board meetings. Point out the lack of balance – that favoring one religion over others is unconstitutional. Know what’s being taught in your children’s schools. If necessary, seek legal action.

And make sure you’re constantly teaching your children who God is and who He is not.

White House Account Of President Trump’s Call With Ukraine’s Leader

Updated at 11:20 p.m. ET

President Trump has released a transcript of his July call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy.
The call is at the center of a controversy over whether Trump pressured Ukraine to investigate former Vice President Joe Biden, a potential election rival. See the memo as released, which is flagged not being a verbatim transcript of a conversation. Read the text below.

Declassified by order of the President
September 24, 2019

SUBJECT: Telephone Conversation with President Zelenskyy of Ukraine
PARTICIPANTS: President Zelenskyy of Ukraine
Notetakers: The White House Situation·Room
DATE, TIME July 25, 2019, 9:03 – 9:33 a.m. EDT
AND PLACE: Residence

The President: Congratulations on a great victory. We all watched from the United States and you did a terrific job. The way you came from behind, somebody who wasn’t given much of a chance, and you ended up winning easily. It’s a fantastic achievement. Congratulations.
President Zelenskyy: You are absolutely right Mr. President. We did win big and we worked hard for this. We worked a lot but I would like to confess to you that I had an opportunity to learn from you. We used quite a few of your skills and knowledge and were able to use it as an example for our elections and yes it is true that these were unique elections. We were in a unique situation that we were able to achieve a unique success. I’m able to tell you the following; the first time, you called me to congratulate me when I won my presidential election, and the second time you are now calling me when my party won the parliamentary election. I think I should run more often so you can call me more often and we can talk over the phone more often.
The President: [laughter] That’s a very good idea. I think your country is very happy about that.
President Zelenskyy: Well yes, to tell you the truth, we are trying to work hard because we wanted to drain the swamp here in our country. We brought in many many new people. Not the old politicians, not the typical politicians, because we want to have a new format and a new type of government. You are a great teacher for us and in that.
The President: Well it’s very nice of you to say that. I will say that we do a lot for Ukraine. We spend a lot of effort and a lot of time. Much more than the European countries are doing and they should be helping you more than they are. Germany does almost nothing for you. All they do is talk and I think it’s something that you should really ask them about. When I was speaking to Angela Merkel she talks Ukraine, but she doesn’t do anything. A lot of the European countries are the same way so I think it’s something you want to look at but the United States has been very very good to Ukraine. I wouldn’t say that it’s reciprocal necessarily because things are happening that are not good but the United States has been very very good to Ukraine.
President Zelenskyy: Yes you are absolutely right. Not only 100%, but actually 100% and I can tell you the following; I did talk to Angela Merkel and I did meet with her. I also met and talked with Macron and I told them that they are not doing quite as much as they need to be doing on the issues with the sanctions. They are not enforcing the sanctions. They are not working as much as they should work for Ukraine. It turns out that even though logically, the European Union should be our biggest partner but technically the United States is a much bigger partner than the European Union and I’m very grateful to you for that because the United States is doing quite a lot for Ukraine. Much more than the European Union, especially when we are talking about sanctions against the Russian Federation. I would also like to thank you for your great support in the area of defense. We are ready to continue to cooperate for the next steps specifically we are almost ready to buy more Javelins from the United States for defense purposes.
The President: I would like you to do us a favor though because our country has been through a lot and Ukraine knows a lot about it. I would like you to find out what happened with this whole situation with Ukraine, they say Crowdstrike… I guess you have one of your wealthy people… The server, they say Ukraine has it. There are a lot of things that went on, the whole situation. I think you’re surrounding yourself with some of the same people. I would like to have the Attorney General call you or your people and I would like you to get to the bottom of it. As you saw yesterday, that whole nonsense ended with a very poor performance by a man named Robert Mueller, an incompetent performance, but they say a lot of it started with Ukraine. Whatever you can do, it’s very important that you do it, if that’s possible.
President Zelenskyy: Yes it is very important for me and everything that you just mentioned earlier. For me as a President, is very important and we are open for any future cooperation. We are ready to open a new page on cooperation in relations between the United States and Ukraine. For that purpose, I just recalled our ambassador from United States and he will be replaced by a very competent and very experienced ambassador who will work hard on making sure that our two nations are getting closer. I would also like and hope to see him having your trust and your confidence and have personal relations with you so we can cooperate even more. I will personally tell you that one of my assistants spoke with Mr. Giuliani just recently and we are hoping very much that Mr. Giuliani will be able to travel to Ukraine and we will meet once he comes to Ukraine. I just wanted to assure you once again that you have nobody but friends around us. I will make sure that I surround myself with the best and most experienced people. I also wanted to tell you that we are friends. We are great friends and you Mr. President have friends in our country so we can continue our strategic partnership. I also plan to surround myself with great people and in addition to that investigation, I guarantee as the President of Ukraine that all the investigations will be done openly and candidly. That I can assure you.
The President: Good because I heard you had a prosecutor who was very good and he was shut down and that’s really unfair. A lot of people are talking about that, the way they shut your very good prosecutor down and you had some very bad people involved. Mr. Giuliani is a highly respected man. He was the mayor of New York City, a great mayor, and I would like him to call you. I will ask him to call you along with the Attorney General. Rudy very much knows what’s happening and he is a very capable guy. If you could speak to him that would be great. The former ambassador from the United States, the woman, was bad news and the people she was dealing with in the Ukraine were bad news so I just want to let you know that. The other thing, there’s a lot of talk about Biden’s son, that Biden stopped the prosecution and a lot of people want to find out about that so whatever you can do with the Attorney General would be great. Biden went around bragging that he stopped the prosecution so if you can look into it… It sounds horrible to me.
President Zelenskyy: I wanted to tell you about the prosecutor. First of all, I understand and I’m knowledgeable about the situation. Since we have won the absolute majority in our Parliament, the next prosecutor general will be 100% my person, my candidate, who will be approved by the parliament and will start as a new prosecutor in September. He or she will look into the situation, specifically to the company that you mentioned in this issue. The issue of the investigation of the case is actually the issue of making sure to restore the honesty so we will take care of that and will work on the investigation of the case. On top of that, I would kindly ask you if you have any additional information that you can provide to us, it would be very helpful for the investigation to make sure that we administer justice in our country with regard to the Ambassador to the United States from Ukraine as far as I recall her name was Ivanovich. It was great that you were the first one who told me that she was a bad ambassador because I agree with you 100%. Her attitude towards me was far from the best as she admired the previous President and she was on his side. She would not accept me as a new President well enough.
The President: Well, she’s going to go through some things. I will have Mr. Giuliani give you a call and I am also going to have Attorney General Barr call and we will get to the bottom of it. I’m sure you will figure it out. I heard the prosecutor was treated very badly and he was a very fair prosecutor so good luck with everything. Your economy is going to get better and better I predict. You have a lot of assets. It’s a great country. I have many Ukrainian friends, their incredible people.
President Zelenskyy: I would like to tell you that I also have quite a few Ukrainian friends that live in the United States. Actually last time I traveled to the United States, I stayed in New York near Central Park and I stayed at the Trump Tower. I will talk to them and I hope to see them again in the future. I also wanted to thank you for your invitation to visit the United States, specifically Washington, C.C. On the other hand, I also want to ensure you that we will be very serious about the case and will work on the investigation. As to the economy, there is much potential for our two countries and one of the issues that is very important for Ukraine is energy independence. I believe we can be very successful and cooperating on energy independence with United States. We are already working on cooperation. We are buying American oil but I am very hopeful for a future meeting. We will have more time and more opportunities to discuss these opportunities and get to know each other better. I would like to thank you very much for your support.
The President: Good. Well, thank you very much and I appreciate that. I will tell Rudy and Attorney General Barr to call. Thank you. Whenever you would like to come to the White House, feel free to call. Give us a date and we’ll work that out. I look forward to seeing you.
President Zelenskyy: Thank you very much. I would be very happy to come and would be happy to meet with you personally and get to know you better. I am looking forward to our meeting and I would also like to invite you to visit Ukraine and come to the city of Kyiv which is a beautiful city. We have a beautiful country which would welcome you. On the other hand, I believe that on September 1 we will be in Poland and we can meet in Poland hopefully. After that, it might be a very good idea for you to travel to Ukraine. We can either take my plane and go to Ukraine or we can take your plane, which is probably much better than mine.
The President: Okay, we can work that out. I look forward to seeing you in Washington and maybe in Poland because I think we are going to be there at that time.
President Zelenskyy: Thank you very much Mr. President.
The President: Congratulations on a fantastic job you’ve done. The whole world was watching. I’m not sure it was so much of an upset but congratulations.
President Zelenskyy: Thank you Mr. President bye-bye.

Without these brave student activists, many schools would ignore this anniversary or promote a politically correct version of what happened 18 years ago today.
Young America’s Foundation created the 9/11: Never Forget Project in 2003 to help students create meaningful memorials to the innocent victims of radical Islamic terrorism, and to inspire commitment to defending our freedoms whenever they are attacked. Since its inception, more than 11 million American flags have been placed in displays across the nation.

Trump says he’s sanctioning Iran’s national bankTrump says he's sanctioning Iran's national bank

President Trump  announced Friday that he had sanctioned Iran’s national bank, calling them the “highest sanctions ever imposed on a country.”    Trump made the comments to reporters during an Oval Office meeting with Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison. The announcement comes two days after Trump said he had instructed the Treasury Department to increase sanctions on Iran, following attacks on two oil facilities in Saudi Arabia.
Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has blamed Iran for attacks on two oil facilities in Saudi Arabia over the weekend, calling them an “act of war.” Trump, however, has appeared hesitant to definitely blame Tehran for the attacks.

“It is beyond ironic that the far-left urban policies of cities like Los Angeles, San Francisco and Seattle are creating an environmental disaster for the coastal sea life!

Take action now!
San Francisco, Los Angeles and Seattle should be held to Clean Water Act standards as human waste pollutes their waterways

Sept. 19, 2019, Fairfax, Va.—Americans for Limited Government President Rick Manning today issued the following statement in reaction to President Donald Trump calling on the EPA to take Clean Water Act action against west coast cities that put human waste into natural waterways:
“In March of 2018, San Diego County, California cities of Imperial Beach and Chula Vista sued the International Boundary & Water Commission-United States Section and Veolia Water North America West over the ‘devastating pollution discharges’ from the Tijuana River. Last night, President Trump stated that he anticipated that the United States Environmental Protection Agency will take action against San Francisco and potentially, Los Angeles, which have exacerbated a homeless problem to such an extent that they are polluting the Pacific Ocean with drug needles and raw human waste.
“While some might laugh at the notion that the washing of raw human waste into the San Francisco Bay should be cited by the EPA, the truth is that the effects can be catastrophic.  Just last year in Seattle, Washington (which should be in line for EPA sanction as well), opioids were found in mussels pulled from the Puget Sound.  Mussels, which filter sediment for nutrition, became contaminated due to the washing to raw human waste from a drug addicted homeless population directly into the Sound.
“It is beyond ironic that the far-left urban policies of cities like Los Angeles, San Francisco and Seattle are creating an environmental disaster for the coastal sea life which these same politicians claim to revere.  An EPA lawsuit holding these eco-socialist elites to the same standards which they would hold a private company should create an existential values clash on the left coast.  And hopefully, they will become ‘woke’ to the reality that their urban policies fail to serve any of their purported values.”

In the flash of an eye, the world’s oil supply was reduced by 5 percent after the Sept. 14 attacks on Saudi Arabian oil facilities i

By Robert Romano

In the flash of an eye, the world’s oil supply was reduced by 5 percent after the Sept. 14 attacks on Saudi Arabian oil facilities including the Abqaiq oil processing facility, which sent oil prices soaring in trading on Sept. 16 and then a subsequent pullback today upon Saudi announcements that production will be restored within weeks.
Houthi rebels from Yemen have claimed credit for the attacks while the U.S. has pointed the finger at Iran. Wherever the blame lies, the sudden disruption of oil supply lines and the subsequent sharp rise of prices underscores the overall fragility of global energy supplies. Saudi Arabia has said it will offset the loss of production — viewed at about 5.7 million barrels a day — by releasing reserves. President Donald Trump has similarly stepped in to open up U.S. reserves.
In the meantime, Trump’s opponents in the Democratic presidential primary have been pushing an agenda of banning hydraulic fracturing that produces shale oil, off-shore drilling and ending fossil fuels altogether with the Green New Deal, which would surely reduce global supplies even further and create an overnight energy and financial crisis, pushing prices even higher.
The U.S. is now the number one oil producer in the world at 12.4 million barrels per day, according to the U.S. Energy Information Agency, built off of the oil shale boom. That’s more than Russia and Saudi Arabia, which each produce a little more than 10.5 million barrels a day, and makes up about 15 percent of the world’s 82.5 million barrels per day needed to keep markets stable.
And with about half of Saudi Arabia’s processing capacity now in flames, about 5 percent of global production, the U.S. share of global supplies suddenly just became that much more essential. The world’s population of 7.7 million depends on constant supplies of commodities like food and energy, the level of production of which are the products of the industrial revolution and globalization of the economy. It’s not going away and, if anything, needs to get bigger in order to offset future disruptions.
Just a mere 5 percent disruption of global oil supplies, even if temporary, will be enough to have an impact on prices for weeks and months ahead. In the 2000s the growth of China and the weak dollar were enough to send oil soaring to $150 a barrel.
This demonstrates that the Green New Deal, fossil fuel bans and other varieties of foolishness we are seeing from radical environmentalists, if ever implemented, will have predictable market-driven consequences that will make the 1973 Arab oil embargo or the 2008 oil bubble look tame in comparison.
Prices might have risen anyway with the strong dollar peaking and Fed easing upon us with more interest rate cuts on the horizon, with the next cut expected to come at the Sept. 19 meeting of the Federal Reserve. The bombing of the Saudi oil facilities just iced it.
Americans for Limited Government President Rick Manning blasted Democrats’ plans, especially in light of the attacks on Saudi oil facilities in statement, saying, “The attack on the Saudi oil fields demonstrates to Americans who are too young to remember the 1973 oil embargos just how delicate the supply lines of oil are in the Middle East. While much of the world’s energy supply may be thrown into turmoil as a result of these attacks, with higher prices, the United States stands as a nation prepared to meet these energy challenges and higher demand — due to energy independence achieved under President Trump. Hydraulic fracturing is the reason why America is part of the solution to this energy supply attack, and Sen. Elizabeth Warren’s dangerous promise to end fracking, and all Democratic candidates who want to end off-shore drilling, can now be seen for the foolish pandering they represent. While Warren pretends to be a serious candidate for president, no one who would put America at the mercy of Middle East oil supplies can ever again be trusted in the White House.”
Global markets are not just a light switch that environmental activists can just swoop in and shut off — as much as they would like to — without dramatic, sometimes catastrophic consequences ensuing.
Level-headed people look at these circumstances and say that as a world-leading producer, we have an obligation to fill market demand.
Environmental radicals look at the same set of circumstances and argue for what amounts to an economic suicide pact. They see disruptions of supplies as proof that an alternative is needed urgently, even if the current alternatives cannot even meet a fraction of market demands.
The lesson here — the real lesson — is that the U.S. needs to be prepared for supply disruptions. We need redundancy. Oil shale production and supporting off-shore drilling accomplishes that, but Democrats are now broadcasting that that can all change with just one election. Their response to supply disruptions will be to make them worse, no matter how bad it is for the economy.

Spygate was an act of war!

Spygate was an act of war and if its
perpetrators are not held accountable,
it will happen again

By Robert Romano

Spygate was an act of war. Russia hacked the DNC and John Podesta and had the emails published on Wikileaks. That surely was viewed by the Obama administration as an act of war and it responded in kind. It was called a digital Pearl Harbor.
However, their first response was not to sanction Russia. No, that would not come until Dec. 2016 — after the election.
Before the election, the first response was to obtain surveillance against the Trump campaign and the GOP, first by targeting George Papadopoulos via foreign agency efforts beginning in mid-2016, and then the FISA warrant applications, assuming there weren’t more, on Carter Page beginning in Oct. 2016, fueled by the DNC-Steele dossier falsely accusing President Donald Trump, Page and Paul Manafort of being Russian agents, that was renewed after the election and then finally the fateful strike on Michael Flynn in Jan. 2017, spying on his phone call with the Russian ambassador, leaking it to the Washington Post on Jan. 12, 2017, sending the FBI to ask about it on Jan. 24, 2017 — all encompassing the bedrock of a three-year-long Justice Department investigation, undertaken under the mistaken belief that the nation had just elected the Manchurian Candidate.
Now, Washington, D.C. and the American people patiently await the publication of Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz’ report on abuses of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act in 2016 and beyond, wherein the Trump campaign, the opposition party at the time, was unjustly surveilled by the Obama administration, the incumbent party, in an election year.
The surveillance gave intelligence agencies unprecedented access to the operations of one of the major parties’ presidential campaigns. They had Page’s contacts, including telephone, email, text, documents and more, his contacts’ contacts, at least, throughout the campaign, Trump’s sphere and the Republican National Committee, certainly.
The surveillance carried over into the Trump administration in 2017, and the investigation persisted until 2019, when Special Counsel Robert Mueller finally concluded it, finding in his report that, after all, there was no criminal conspiracy between President Donald Trump or his campaign and Russia to steal emails from the Democratic National Committee (DNC) and John Podesta and have them put on Wikileaks.
The Mueller report stated, “[T]he investigation did not establish that members of the Trump Campaign conspired or coordinated with the Russian government in its election interference activities,” and “the evidence does not establish that the President was involved in an underlying crime related to Russian election interference.”
So, if it was not true, then what made intelligence agencies and the Justice Department come to believe in what amounted to a hare-brained conspiracy theory that tore the country in half for three years?
The fact that it was used politically and in a partisan context, and wrongly at that to identify fictitious threats to national security, does not ameliorate and only compounds concerns about how these powers were used and how they may be used again in the future.
Intelligence and surveillance powers are war powers. They are designed to identify targets, usually military, for purposes of eliminating threats to national security in the event of war. Their use, therefore, is itself an act of war, including when it is used domestically.
The American people are told that these powers are essential to defending national security. But used wrongly, as they were in spygate, they become themselves the greatest threat to national security and the Constitution.
The fact that it was used politically and in a partisan context, and wrongly at that to identify fictitious threats to national security, does not ameliorate and only compounds concerns about how these powers were used and how they may be used again in the future.
To create accountability when this sort of thing happens, there must be an accounting of how these powers were wrongly deployed in the first place, highlighting the need for oversight by Horowitz, but it must be followed up by action by Attorney General William Barr. Why did the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court repeatedly rubber stamp the warrant applications against the Trump campaign that found no conspiracy? Why did judges keep renewing it if it wasn’t true?
What was the extent of the surveillance? Who did it net? Were they in the White House? It seems hard to believe they weren’t.
Moreover, what laws (if any) were violated and who will be held accountable so the American people can have certainty that these powers are not abused again in the future?
The worst possible outcome of the Horowitz report would be if it found that, yes, the FBI and Justice Department were given bad, concocted intelligence by political actors, including the DNC and Hillary Clinton campaign who hired former British spy Christopher Steele to produce the bogus allegations that President Trump was a Russian agent, used in the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court to violate their constitutional rights, but that doing so violated no laws.
This dilemma, more than anything, will come to define Barr’s tenure in office as well as determine whether the national rift caused by the abuse of surveillance powers can ever be mended.
This was a blow on democracy itself, an effort to overturn a decisive electoral outcome in 2016. A place the Justice Department and intelligence agencies have little role in interfering. What we did to ourselves pales in comparison to anything Russia was accused of.
Tthe whole reason the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act of 1978 was adopted was prevent unconstitutional domestic spying. A select committee headed by Sen. Frank Church (D-Idaho) convened in 1975 to get to the bottom of revelations by Seymour Hersh’s explosive report to the New York Times on Dec. 22, 1974 that the CIA had been engaged a mass, domestic surveillance program against anti-war protestors, members of Congress and other political figures.
On NBC’s Meet the Press on Aug. 17, 1975, Church who had led the committee warned, “If this government ever became a tyranny, if a dictator ever took charge in this country, the technological capacity that the intelligence community has given the government could enable it to impose total tyranny, and there would be no way to fight back because the most careful effort to combine together in resistance to the government, no matter how privately it was done, is within the reach of the government to know. Such is the capability of this technology…”
Church added, “I don’t want to see this country ever go across the bridge. I know the capacity that is there to make tyranny total in America, and we must see to it that this agency and all agencies that possess this technology operate within the law and under proper supervision so that we never cross over that abyss. That is the abyss from which there is no return.”
The committee led to the adoption of the law, which sought to reform how intelligence is gathered and the limited circumstances it can be used in the U.S. If 40 years later, the Justice Department concludes an internal review into the gravest abuses of this law ever seen, where surveillance was used to yield partisan political advantage and even to unseat a sitting president on made-up allegations of treason, that it violated no laws, it will discredit the very rule of law FISA sought to engender.
The real dilemma Attorney General Barr faces is the reality that if the perpetrators of spygate are not held accountable now, and the mass surveillance powers reined in, this will happen again. This was one of the most terrible things that ever happened to our country. How do we put the genie back in the bottle?

Warning signs flash for Tillis in North Carolina

Sen. Thom Tillis (R-N.C.) has been endorsed by President Trump and has the full backing of Republicans’ Senate campaign arm.

So when he took the stage at one of Trump’s rallies in Fayetteville, N.C., last week, the boos from some in the audience weren’t necessarily how a first-term Republican senator facing a primary challenge would hope to be received.
