This is legit.  I just called and expressed my opinion.  John Nelson – Chairman the Highlands tea Party

Anheiser Busch is taking calls about whether it should pull their sponsorship of NFL football.  They are upset about the way certain NFL players and teams want to show their lack of respect for our National Anthem, our Flag, and our Country.  Anheiser Busch employs 1100 veterans who are also being disrespected along with all other veterans living and dead.  These NFL players are uniformed, paid employees of the owners teams and have no right to publicly express their personal political opinions on company time.  They can do whatever they want on their own time.

You know how big a sponsor Budweiser is.  Their decision, based on this public opinion, could make a tremendous impact on what the NFL does.

I just called Budweiser’s special number 1-800-342-5283 when they answered select option 1 give your opinion, after you give your opinion, wait till operator comes back and gives you options before hanging up, or your message will not be recorded. and it all took less than a minute.

Whether or not you vote, please rush this email on to all patriotic Americans and sports fans. Thank you.

Summary: Get news, events and updates from the White House here at 1600 Daily.

America has seen a return to 3 percent GDP growth in the last two quarters, but the current tax code hinders American job-creators and makes U.S. businesses uncompetitive world-wide. Our country is poised for historic economic growth by reducing the complexity of our current tax code and promoting an economic environment that motivates American companies to reinvest their overseas wealth back home. We can lay a prosperous foundation for years to come by insisting on a tax system that ensures Americans keep more of their hard-earned money. Learn more about pro-job, pro-family, and pro-America tax reform.

United States and Republic of Korea Stand Unified in Denuclearizing North Korea

Last night in Seoul, President Trump delivered remarks to the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea to address the security challenges presented by North Korea.
“The time for excuses is over. Now is the time for strength. If you want peace, you must stand strong at all times. The world cannot tolerate the menace of a rogue regime that threatens with nuclear devastation.  All responsible nations must join forces to isolate the brutal regime of North Korea — to deny it and any form — any form of it. You cannot support, you cannot supply, you cannot accept. We call on every nation, including China and Russia, to fully implement U.N. Security Council resolutions, downgrade diplomatic relations with the regime, and sever all ties of trade and technology.
It is our responsibility and our duty to confront this danger together — because the longer we wait, the greater the danger grows, and the fewer the options become. And to those nations that choose to ignore this threat, or, worse still, to enable it, the weight of this crisis is on your conscience,” said the President.

This article below is circulating the web, in order to impeach the President they have to have “convicted” him of a crime, not just the the Democrats say he may have committed one, Also you would need 2/3 rd of the Senate to vote for this impeachment

At the federal level, Article Two of the United States Constitution states in Section 4 that “The President, Vice President, and all civil Officers of the United States shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other High Crimes and Misdemeanors.”

Impeachment is analogous to indictment in regular court proceedings; trial by the other house is analogous to the trial before judge and jury in regular courts. Typically, the lower house of the legislature impeaches the official and the upper house conducts the trial.

Impeachment is the process by which Congress puts certain officials, namely the president, on trial.  The constitution lays out a broad scope of offences that can lead to impeachment: “Treason, bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanors”.

It does not mean the president will necessarily be kicked out of office. It proceeds like a bill passing through legislature. First, a majority in the House of Representatives – 218 out of 435 members – must approve articles of impeachment previously approved in committee.

Consequently, the current make-up of the House favours Mr Trump. As it stands, Republicans hold 238 seats while Democrats hold 193. (Four seats are vacant.) That means 25 Republicans would need to be persuaded to vote to impeach Mr Trump, which seems an unlikely scenario.

Then it goes to the Senate, where a two-thirds majority vote is needed to convict the president and consequently remove him from office – even getting the 60 votes needed to overcome a filibuster is difficult for either party these days.

Many people have said Mr Trump is not fit to be president, but this is not an impeachable offence, even under the broad terms of the constitution. So what could he be charged with?

There were calls for action against him over the allegations that he shared classified information with the Russians. But if true, it is unlikely he has broken any law. As president, he has broad authority to declassify government secrets, which is why he defiantly defended himself by saying he had the “absolute right” to do so.

Other have pointed to his conflict of interest over his business dealings. Legal scholars have pointed out that as soon as he was sworn into office, he was in direct violation of the foreign-emoluments clause in Article I, Section 9, of the Constitution, which states: “… no person holding any Office of Profit or Trust under [the United States], shall, without the Consent of the Congress, accept of any present, Emolument, Office or Title of any kind whatever, from any King, Prince or foreign State.” With significant financial interests all over the world, this indeed a murky area for Mr Trump but he has taken enough steps away from his business empire to ensure this is a non-starter.

The latest controversy could be trickier for Mr Trump. Obstruction of the justice was one of the charges against Mr Clinton and the same charges were being levelled against the president as soon as he fired Mr Comey, who was leading an investigation into the Trump campaign’s links to Russia. Mr Comey’s memo claiming that Mr Trump urged him to end the investigation into Mr Flynn has only fuelled those accusations.

“The memo is powerful evidence of obstruction of justice and certainly merits immediate and prompt investigation by an independent special prosecutor,” said Democratic US Senator Richard Blumenthal.

So did he break the law?

Legal experts say Mr Trump is certainly on thin ice over his comments, as quoted in the memo.

“For the president to tell the FBI to end a potential criminal investigation, that’s obstruction of justice,” said Erwin Chereminsky, a constitutional law professor and dean of University of California, Irvine School of Law. “This is what caused President Nixon to resign from office.”

But the experts said intent was a critical element of an obstruction of justice charge, and the president’s words could be subject to interpretation and possibly put into the context of other actions, like Mr Comey’s termination.

The fact that the president apparently said he “hoped” Mr Comey would end the Flynn investigation rather than more directly ordering it “makes for a weaker but still viable case,” Christopher Slobogin, a criminal law professor at Vanderbilt University Law School, told Reuters.

Mr Flynn’s resignation came hours after it was reported that the Justice Department had warned the White House weeks earlier that Flynn could be vulnerable to blackmail for contacts with Russia’s ambassador, Sergei Kislyak, before Mr Trump took office on January 20.

What next politically?

The case against Mr Trump would have to be damning and watertight for Republicans to act against him.

If President Trump is impeached and removed from office, which at the moment is unlikely, Vice President Mike Pence would simply take over.

“It is clear to us that he is unfit to be president of the United States of America,” Gutiérrez said Wednesday. (not a reason to impeach)

Gutiérrez, one of Trump’s sharpest critics, declined to specify what grounds the articles will cite, saying only that the Democrats are working with constitutional scholars to solidify their case.

Citing Trump’s defense of the white nationalists who participated in deadly protest marches in Charlottesville, Va., that month. ( Trump did not mout a defense of anyone in the riots, he stated all parties were guilty)

President Trump has not been charged or convicted of Treason, Bribery or high Crimes and Misdemeanors, the democrats are just hunting headlines and making useless noise.

Also they apparently do not understand that Vice President Pence would take over and most likely carry on with the program, what would they have gained?

An Important Message from Scott Wheeler
author, producer, former investigative journalist,
  and GOP Trust Executive Director

We are now learning that the Russian attorney that requested a meeting with Donald Trump Jr. met with the creators of the so-called “Trump Dossier” both right before and right after the meeting with Trump campaign.

This is evidence that the Democrats were baiting the Trump campaign into meeting with Russians in order to sell their “collusion” fiction. We have been reporting to you for over a year that this was a set up, and now Fox News is also reporting it.

A quick note to make sure you see our new ad before we release it to the media

And to ask for your help to ensure it is seen everywhere

The new video ad exposes real treason in the Democrat Party.

This ad must be seen by every potential voter!

Democrats are desperate because they know they must win in order to protect their criminal enterprise. And we know that we have to stop them before they transform our Republic into a banana republic.

You are the most informed people in the nation. We have been reporting for over a year that not only was it the Democrats who had colluded with Russia but that they also set up the Trump campaign to take the fall.

We must make every effort count now — justice will not be done unless WE MAKE IT HAPPEN! We cannot stress this enough. We must continue this investigation and constantly report, not just to you, but to the entire nation.

Every day the Democrat media is telling lies to voters–we are the only group who is running ads to expose those lies.

What has happened over the past few years is that Democrats have been able to define Republicans as undesirable, racists, sexists, etc… When President Reagan was in office he successfully and accurately pegged the Democrat Party as communist sympathizers. Now they are even worse.

The Clintons colluded with communist China in the 1990s, we have proved that case over and over. Now they have colluded with Russia (basically the former Soviet Union), and effectively blamed President Trump without any evidence. We cannot let this stand or Democrats will take over congress next year and impeach President Trump and make their Russia lies seem true.

We are the only ones who can stop them. Please help.
