This is what the Group Indivisible is going to lead the country too; no more town halls

N.J. rep. says town halls ‘hijacked’

ASBURY PARK, N.J. — Add a New Jersey lawmaker to a growing list of House Republicans not interested in holding town halls and the risk of disruptions by anti-Trump and pro-Obamacare protesters.   Rep. Tom MacArthur says his town hall schedule is on hold because he doesn’t “want to be baited into having an event that some outside group can just make a spectacle out of.’’
MacArthur during a one-hour telephone town hall Monday night alleged that colleagues had their events disrupted by “hundreds of people have been bused in and have been organized and in some cases have even been paid to disrupt and to steal your voice.”  MacArthur didn’t offer evidence that protesters are paid and bused. Staffers did not respond to a request for a comment.  “I think you have to realize what’s going on all over the country. Public town hall events are being hijacked by groups that are outside of the district that (the) member represents. You’ve seen them on TV,’’ MacArthur said.
New York Rep. Chris Collins and Illinois Rep. Peter Roskam, both Republicans, earlier on Monday also said they don’t have plans to do any in-person town halls because of the current hostile climate.     MSN – Read On>>>>>

Indivisible a Counter Trump movement, trying to desperately create themselves in the Image of the Tea Party are going to
eventually put a stop to town Hall meetings.  What does that that gain anyone when they cannot hear their representative speak?
this is a group out to start physical confrontations  among the peacefully assembled, they eve go so far in their documentation that the TEa party
  • Ignored reality and made up their ownI guess the do not consider the U.S Constitution and the Declaration Independence real documents or facts.
  • Threaten anyone the considered as enemy – Sorry, we have as a nationwide organization never threatened anyone or group, there is no proof of any such action.  This is an outright LIE
  • Physically assaulted and spat on staff – This Is an Outright LIE  – Not one incident has ever been proven
  • Shouted obscenities and burned people in effigyAgain an outright lie, this has never happened in a tea party rally and there has never been a effigy or flag burning.
  • Targeted their hate not just at congress , but also at fellow citizens (especially people of color)Another outright lie.
Technically what they have described above is exactly what they are going to be; a compilation Occupy. BLM, Moveon.org and any other hate groups out there that George Soros has created and financed, they say they are not finance by anyone lBS.S.! They cannot afford to do what they are doing with out funds..
They have absolutely no documentation, video nothing to back up these absurd statements they have made about the Tea Party. We hold peaceful assemblies, clean up after ourselves, Peaceful meetings, flag waves show our patriotism of our country,  our signs have always been respectful never about race, no foul language, and I do not believe you will finds one congressman who would say that the tea party was in hospital as this group is stating they are going to be.
There is a book out that shows pictures of over a 12000 rallies held by tea parties across the country , Rallies held at state capitols, U.S Capitol, nowhere will you see a dirty foul language sign, or mention of race, now slang detrimental statements  Personally I predict this group is going to go the same way as Occupy, BLM, Moveon.org, people will ignore them as just more disruptive left wingers wanting to push a Socialist agenda on America.
I say , why don’t they collectively  get themselves passports, move to Russia and live the lifestyle that they so badly want; give up their U.S citizenship, we will not miss them!

Target Sales into Rough Waters

February 13, 2017
The NFL doesn’t have to look far to see where this kind of political pigheadedness leads. For the last 10 months, the Target company has taken a beating on Wall Street for racing to embrace the transgender movement. The backlash for opening their fitting rooms and restrooms to anyone has been so severe that executives are scrambling to stop the bleeding. After 1.5 million Americans joined the Target boycott first launched by American Family Association, the company has been racing to make up the deficits — not just in their bank account, but in the public trust.
After Christmas (and a slew of missed projections), executives went back to the drawing board. Two months into the New Year, nothing is working. In fact, the situation is so dire for the retailer that they’ve had to call off a major expansion in sales. “Target announced the end of two projects as the stock price hit $64.77 at market close on February 8. That’s down from $83 when the boycott began once the company made its transgender policy change on April 19. The stock price drop has slashed roughly $10 billion from the company’s value on Wall Street.” The closure was so unexpected, Breitbart explains, that it “even caught the project’s manager by surprise.” Although the company tried to pass it off as a “normal ebb and flow of business,” the reality is that they have nothing but their controversial bathroom policy to blame.
And financial experts agree. At Cabot Wealth Network, Crista Huff couldn’t believe the company didn’t know better than to pander to a tiny vocal minority. “I immediately knew that Target’s revenue would drop because its customer base would become disenfranchised. How did Target’s management team not know this?” What’s more, this excuse that all of the retailers going through tough times is exactly that — an excuse. Stock analysts point out that “Target’s same-store sales fell 1.1 percent in the second quarter, while Wal-Mart’s comps rose 1.6 percent… If you take 1.5 million people’s consumer dollars away from Target, and direct most of those dollars toward their obvious rival, Wal-Mart, then yes, Wal-Mart is going to have an upside surprise in quarterly sales while Target’s numbers disappoint.” The takeaway? Well, Huff says, “My recommendation is that shareholders sell [Target] stock and reinvest their capital into the stock of a company with strong earnings growth” – and, we would add, stronger values!

Trump Washes His Hands of Bathroom Order

February 13, 2017

If you thought President Trump hit the ground running, you should see Jeff Sessions. The new attorney general was probably still unpacking his office when he got to work turning the page at the Justice Department after eight years of scandal. First up? The Obama bathroom mandate for public schools.
Less than 48 hours after his confirmation, Sessions’s DOJ made it clear the agency was under new management by refusing to defend the controversial order to let students of both sexes use any locker room, shower, or restroom they want. Since last May when President Obama shocked the country with his decree, the issue has been working its way through the courts — thanks to a huge pushback from states like Texas. By summer’s end, a federal judge agreed with parents: the Obama administration had overstepped its boundaries. In a huge win for the Constitution and common sense, Reed O’Connor blocked the rule from taking effect, at least temporarily. Frustrated, the Obama attorneys asked the court to lift its ban in every state except the 13 who sued the government over it. O’Connor refused, insisting:
“It is clear from Supreme Court and Fifth Circuit precedent that this Court has the power to issue a nationwide injunction where appropriate. Both Title IX and Title VII rely on the consistent, uniform application of national standards in education and workplace policy. A nationwide injunction is necessary because the alleged violation extends nationwide,” he wrote. “Should the Court only limit the injunction to the plaintiff states who are a party to this cause of action, the Court risks a ‘substantial likelihood that a geographically-limited injunction would be ineffective.”
Not surprisingly, the Obama administration appealed. But thanks to the Trump team’s quick thinking, the court date originally scheduled for tomorrow has been canceled. “The parties are currently considering how best to proceed,” Justice officials wrote. Of course, most Americans hope that “proceeding” includes the formal withdrawal of an edict that’s already had a deleterious effect on girls’ privacy and safety. From Virginia to Oklahoma, the groundswell of opposition exploded. While some districts may have waffled on the rule, parents refused to take the government’s coercion lying down. In Palatine, Illinois, where girls were so afraid to change in the locker room that they wore their gym clothes under their school clothes, the Trump administration’s move is a positive step. No child’s innocence should be sacrificed on the altar of political correctness. As even some Democrats will tell you, the federal government has absolutely no right to strip parents and local schools of their rights to provide a safe learning environment for children.
Donald Trump argued before the election that the federal government had no business forcing extreme bathroom and shower policies on schools. “The state should make the decision,” he argued. Hopefully, the new White House will give them that opportunity by overturning Obama’s order — once and for all.

Judge refuses to block work on Dakota Access pipeline

Judge refuses to block work on Dakota Access pipeline

A federal judge on Monday denied a request to block construction of the Dakota Access Pipeline in North Dakota.   U.S. District Judge James Boasberg said he would not grant a temporary restraining order against the project sought by a South Dakota tribe who argues the pipeline threatens their religious waters.  The Cheyenne River Sioux tribe says the oil pipeline threatens to “imbalance and desecrate” Lake Oahe on the Missouri River, which is sacred to the tribe. They asked for a temporary restraining order blocking construction of the project, which runs under the lake.
“The mere presence of the oil in the pipeline renders the waters religiously impure,” Cheyenne River Sioux lawyer Nicole Ducheneaux said Monday.   But a government lawyer said there is no reason to block construction right now because of a “lack of immediate, irreparable” harm to Lake Oahe during construction of the pipeline itself.  Boasberg agreed, ruling that construction of the pipeline doesn’t threaten the water. He said he wouldn’t issue a restraining order against the project, but vowed to rule on the tribe’s religious challenge to the pipeline before oil runs through it. He set a hearing on the matter for later this month.
“If you are worried it’s going to flow before I rule on the injunction, that’s not going to happen,” he told the tribe’s lawyers.  Also Monday, a lawyer for the Standing Rock Sioux tribe said he would file a motion asking Boasberg to give an up-or-down ruling on the validity of the government’s permitting decisions on the project.   The Hill – Read On>>>>>

Trump: ‘Real story’ of Flynn resignation is illegal leaks

Trump: ‘Real story’ of Flynn resignation is illegal leaks

President Trump on Tuesday said the “real story” of national security adviser Michael Flynn’s resignation was “illegal leaks,” rather than reports Flynn misled senior White House officials about his conversations with Russia.  “The real story here is why are there so many illegal leaks coming out of Washington? Will these leaks be happening as I deal with N.Korea etc?” Trump tweeted.   The White House announced Flynn’s resignation Monday night, the culmination of weeks of controversy surrounding alleged communications with Russia. Flynn had initially denied speaking with Russia’s U.S. ambassador during the transition about sanctions levied by President Obama, but admitted this week that he may have done so and “inadvertently” told Vice President Pence and others otherwise.
News reports based on anonymous sourcing from within the reaches of government disclosed those communications.   During the campaign, Trump signaled affection for leaks that hurt Democrat Hillary Clinton. In October, he told the crowd at a campaign rally “I love WikiLeaks” as the group continued to release hacked emails from Clinton’s top aides.
